Permission to record

Always ask for permission from all participants. Consider adding it to the advertising of the event so people

Consider, rather than asking “is everyone okay with this meeting being recorded”, asking “does anyone have any issue or concern with this meeting being recording”. So you are actively inviting any issues or concerns, rather than assuming agreement. Similar to the GDPR regulations – where you also must not assume agreement.
