You can open Zoom in the Zoom APP on your device (APP version) OR in a browser window (WEB version)

This is what most of us are familiar with using
WEB version
Opens in a Browser window or Tab …
Note: that the WEB version has reduced functionality/missing some features
Which version am I using?
To see which you’re using – look up in the top right – if it has “WEB”, you’re using the WEB version.
To switch to the APP version
- Click on the 3 dots at the top right of your screen
- Click on “Join via Zoom”
