The evenings are a chance for people to discuss various issues/topics and what they might mean for each of us.
I find I can best “get to grips” with a subject when I’m in a group discussing it, hearing other people’s (and sometimes my own) views. I find myself thinking “Yes, I agree with that”, “no I don’t agree with that” and “I’ve never thought about that”.
And, when I know I’ll be discussing it with others, I’m more inspired to read up about it.
