Curious about AI but don’t know where to start?
Artificial Intelligence is transforming how we live and work, but for many of us it can feel overwhelming, technical, or just plain confusing.
What if you could explore AI in a friendly, jargon-free environment, where no question is too basic and no technical background is necessary?
AI Discovery Workshop
A friendly introduction to Artificial Intelligence – a free pilot session
Thursday 12th June – 10 am to 12 (UK time) – Online via Zoom
This Pilot Session will explain what AI actually is, show it in action, and explain how it might be useful in everyday life.
Who is it for?
You may be a complete beginner. Or maybe you’ve started playing around with it. Or perhaps you’ve used it a lot, but know you could do so much more with some proper training or guidance.
What you’ll experience in this 2-hour session
- Demystify AI: cut through the hype and understand what AI really is (and isn’t) in straightforward, accessible language
- Live Demonstrations: we will show you AI tools in action, from writing assistants to image creation
- Learn Effective Communication: you’ll begin to discover how to “talk” to AI systems to get the most helpful responses
- Explore Practical Applications: see how AI can assist with writing, research, creative projects, learning, and more
- Ask Your Questions: enjoy a judgment-free space where all questions are welcome
Why is this a “pilot” session?
Later this year we’re planning a whole series of sessions on Artificial Intelligence.
It will give people a deeper understanding of AI and what it can do and provide a gateway to making AI work more productively for them.
Your feedback and experience on this pilot session will directly influence how we design this series.
So we’re looking for a diverse group of people, with varying backgrounds, interests, and levels of experience with technology and in particular AI.
As part of your particiaption on this session, you’ll get priority registration and special pricing for following sessions.
How to apply to join
Please complete the brief questionnaire about yourself and what you hope to learn and you’ll receive a confirmation email with your Zoom link.
If you have any questions about the workshop please contact us directly on ai@itsorted.org.uk

About your guides
“We both believe in learning through doing and creating a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable asking questions and experimenting.”
Mo Cohen
Mo has been exploring AI tools for the past year, approaching them not as a technical expert, but as a curious learner, discovering what’s possible.
“At 76, I never expected to become an AI enthusiast, but I’ve found these tools surprisingly accessible and helpful in my everyday life. If I can learn to use AI effectively, anyone can!”

Massimo Giannuzzi
Massimo has over 40 years IT experience, as a designer of systems and a trainer, helping people use and understand technology. Over the last 6 years he has also become a Zoom expert. He has been using AI for coding (for systems design) as well as for writing text and imagery.
Mo approached him to provide a more technical understanding of how to use AI alongside other technologies.

The Complete Journey: Coming Soon
This pilot session is just the beginning. Later this year, we’ll launch our comprehensive multi-part program that will take you from curious to confident.
Pilot participants will have priority registration and special pricing for the full program.
