System designer and client support Andy has 18 years experience of systems development experience on small and large scales. He has developed several database systems for small organisations, and also worked on large team-based projects in the public sector. In 2004 he developed the Full Cost Recovery electronic template in 2004, which was purchased by over 5000 organisations in the UK. He also managed the development of an updated version of this software in 2008, and continues to support ACEVO regarding project cost forecasting for the sector. He was a founder member of A&R Organic Veg co-op and Brixton Local Exchange Trading System. He now has two children and lives in a small community in Devon. System designer and client support Alan has been developing Access databases for 8 years. He also has an independent computer support business serving the South Devon area. His experience goes back to the late 1980's, when he began using computers while living as a Buddhist monk in an international Buddhist organisation. He currently works closely with many charitable organisations including the United Reform Church West Midlands and South-Western Synods, and the Barn Owl Trust. System designer Abel has created financial and stock allocation systems, an event and room booking system and a time allocation system. Clients have included the Croydon Drop in Centre, Lifeline and HAI. Abel currently lives in Shanghai with his wife Lorna and son Asher. He is also a fiction novelist and has set up a business to teach relationship skills to Chinese adults. In the past he has run a building contracting and interior design business and a business manufacturing and hiring waterbirth tubs which he franchised before selling. |
